Gym Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Neuewell Gym. To ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all guests, please carefully read and agree to the following terms and conditions before using the facilities. By signing below, you acknowledge and accept these terms.

1. Eligibility
   The gym is open to registered Stanley House and Hillyard residents only. You must be a lease holder to enter the gym.
   You must be at least 18 years old to use the gym facilities on your own. Minors may be permitted however anyone below the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
2. Fee
   You agree to pay the fee of $10 per person per week, plus transaction fees, for use of the gym facilities. You will be billed every two weeks in advance.
   You understand that non-payment of the Fee will result in your access being restricted until such time that payment of the Fee has been made.
   You accept that membership prices may be changed at any time by the Gym operator.
3. Health & Safety
   You must be in good physical condition to use the gym. By signing, you confirm that you have no medical conditions that would make gym use unsafe.
   If you experience dizziness, pain, or discomfort, you must stop exercising immediately and seek medical attention if necessary and cease use of the Gym facilities.
   Neuewell Gym or the Complex is not responsible for any injuries sustained while using the gym.
   You understand that the Gym may not be staffed 24/7, therefore you should exercise the utmost care when training unstaffed.
4. Proper Attire
   Proper gym attire, including closed-toe athletic shoes, is required at all times.
   You must bring a towel and wipe down equipment after use.
5. Equipment Use
   Please follow posted instructions for the safe use of equipment.
   Do not attempt to move, disassemble, or misuse any gym equipment.
   Report any malfunctioning or damaged equipment to the Pellicano Living staff immediately.
   You understand that the Gym is under 24 hour CCTV surveillance for security purposes.
   You agree not to damage, vandalise or steal any equipment or products and understand that CCTV can be used as evidence for tracking purposes.
   Membership may be cancelled at Neuewell Gym or the Complex’s discretion at any time if the rules and regulations aren’t followed by you.
6. Personal Belongings
   Neuewell Gym and the Complex are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items. Please use lockers provided or keep valuables in your room.
7. Conduct
   Please maintain appropriate behavior and courtesy toward other gym users at all times.
   No food or glass containers are allowed in the gym.
   The use of personal speakers is prohibited; please use headphones.
   Any members who allow access to non-members will have their memberships revoked.
8. Gym Hours
   The gym is open 5am – 10pm. Access outside these hours is not permitted. You must vacate the gym by 10pm.
9. Cancellation
   You may cancel your membership at any time, which will cancel at the end of the current subscription period.
10. Liability Waiver
    By signing below, you agree to release and hold harmless the Neuewell Gym, the Complex, its staff, and management from any liability arising from accidents, injuries, or damages sustained in the gym, except where caused by Neuewell Gym or the Complex’s gross negligence.
11. Guest Responsibility
    You are responsible for your own health, safety, and conduct while using the gym facilities and use the gym facility at your own risk.
    Failure to comply with these terms may result in the loss of gym privileges.
